We are looking for smart and talented professionals to help us achieve our mission.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Engineer located in Fayetteville, AR. The Staff Engineer will be responsible for conducting watershed assessments, developing stream restoration designs, implementing restoration projects, performing water quality monitoring, and managing GIS mapping and natural resource databases. The Staff Engineer will also be involved in grant development, technical training, and mitigation bank monitoring.QualificationsExperience in watershed assessment, planning, and managementKnowledge of stream morphology assessment and erosion monitoringExpertise in stream restoration design and implementationFamiliarity with urban stream restoration and green infrastructure projectsExperience in native vegetation establishment and invasive plant species removalProficiency in GIS mapping and natural resource database developmentUnderstanding of best management practices (BMP) planningAbility to conduct water quality monitoring and reportingSkills in project design and grant developmentExperience in technical transfer through training courses and workshopsKnowledge of mitigation bank development, implementation, and monitoringExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
