Job Description:

Our Client in Medford, New Jersey is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist. This is an ongoing temporary position offing $24.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience. This position can be Full Time or Part Time, and the schedule can be somewhat flexible.Responsibilities:Prepare and submit insurance claims to various insurance companies.Track and follow up on unpaid vestigate denied claims and work towards resolution.Maintain accurate records of patient billing information and payments received.Generate patient statements and municate with patients regarding their bills, co-payments, and payment plans.Resolve patient inquiries related to billing and insurance matters.Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.Obtain prior authorizations as required by insurance providers.Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and adherence to best billing practices.Work closely with physical therapists and administrative staff to ensure cohesive operations.Additional billing responsibilities as neededassignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferredPrevious AR management experience is requiredProven experience in medical billing, preferably in a physical therapy or similar healthcare setting.Strong understanding of medical billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Excellent knowledge of insurance guidelines, coding, and billing processes.Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.J & J pays WEEKLY and we offer Direct Deposit, Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits, Paid Time Off, and a $$$ Referral Bonus $$$ !!!If you have previously registered with us, please call our office at 856-751-5050 so that we can update your information with you.If you are interested in signing up with J & J Staffing Resources today, please click on the link below to get started.Apply Now!Since 1972 J & J Staffing Resources has specialized in finding great jobs for great people.
