On the job training, and opportunity to earn materials testing certifications through the company!$20-$23hour based on experience, education andor certificationsJob Description:Travel to and from various construction sitesPerform materials testing on concrete, fill soils, asphalt, aggregates, grout, mortarInspection of footings, rebar, and masonry to ensure that all project specifications are metPerform lab testing on soil samplesTransport equipment to and from other officesAssist other offices with field work when necessaryOnsite sampling of construction materials, including concrete, mortar, soils, various other aggregatesOnsite soil compaction testing and bearing inspectionsOnsite rebar and steel inspectionsPerform laboratory tests of soils including grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, Proctor Tests, crush count, prehensive concrete strength testsQualifications and Requirements:2 or 4 year degree in civil engineeringcivil engineering technology OR 1-2 years of experience and related certifications Must be willing to submit to a background check and full 10 panel drug screenMust have a valid DL and a clean driving record in order to drive company vehiclesGreat communication skillsComputer proficiencyPreferred Certifications:ACI Level 1-4Nuclear Density CertficationNICET
