As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a member of LodeStar's product team and collaborate with team members to streamline software delivery, ensure system scalability and reliability, and optimize infrastructure for efficiency. If you have a passion for continuous improvement and a strong background in software development and IT operations, we want to hear from you.RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in defining automated monitoring and deployment using AWS focused tools and monitoring platforms.Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations as well as troubleshoots and resolve issues.Assist and create Continuous Integration and Continual Deployment (CICD) processes.Work with the LodeStar team to create build and deployment processes following known best practices.Assist with the management and performance of the infrastructure and deployment of applications.Evaluate third party software tools and libraries for enterprise needs with risk management.Monitor systems capacity and performance to allow for scaling of high performance as necessary.Assist with third party IT audits (SOC).Perform other duties as required.REQUIREMENTSMinimum (5) years of experience in systems administration andor software development.Expertise in cloud computing, storage, and hosting functionality (i.e., cloud computing, storage, hosting functionality).Experience working in an environment that utilizes CICD processes is required.Experience with AWS is required.Proficiency in Linux and Windows (.NET) servers.Experience in AWS Cloudformation, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, LandingZone, Lambda, SAM, AWS Serverless technologies.Knowledge of source code control tools such as Git (GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket).Experience managing a large number of systems (configuration management systems).Expertise with monitoring, alerting and incident response tools and performing root cause analysis.Experience with automated testing is a plus.ABOUT LODESTAR:LodeStar was founded in 2013 and is a small but fast-growing technology company with a relaxed work environment and the option for 100% remote work is available.
