POSITION DESCRIPTION - INVESTOR RELATIONS MANAGERCOMPANY PROFILEBarvin, founded in 2009, is an owner, developer, and manager of multifamily communities throughout Texas and other select markets. Barvin recognizes the important role employees play in a successful enterprise and the importance of continuous improvement, so it is viewed as a best-in-class multifamily operator. Today, Barvin owns 5K units and has on-site management of a portion of that portfolio. The company plans to grow to 16K units by 2027 and is owned by Eric Barvin, the company's founder. Barvin's investors are substantially high-net-worth individuals, including some with family offices. Capital is raised on an investment-specific basis. To date, Barvin has raised and invested $ 200 million with 300 active investors. This role will be key in maintaining existing investor relationships and building new relationships with potential investors. POSITIONBarvin is seeking a dynamic and experienced Investor Relations Manager to join our team. The Investor Relations Manager will be crucial in fostering strong relationships with investors, providing timely and transparent communication, and ensuring alignment between investor expectations and company objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key liaison between our company and its investors, contributing to the success and growth of our property management ventures. The Manager will be responsible for communicating with investors, organizing investor-related content into Juniper Square and Hub Spot, managing investor-related marketing efforts, maintaining relationships with existing investors, and developing relationships with new investors. This position will report directly to the VP of Asset Management and Investor Relations while collaborating with a junior Investor Relations Associate.LOCATIONThe position is based in Houston, Texas, and some travel will be required.TIMINGImmediateRESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and execute an investor relations strategy that enhances communication and fosters strong relationships with current and prospective investors.• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and effectively managing expectations.• Coordinate and facilitate investor meetings, calls, and presentations, ensuring clear and concise communication of financial performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to gather and analyze relevant data and insights for investor reporting and presentations.• Prepare and distribute investor communications, including quarterly reports, newsletters, and presentations, in a timely and accurate manner.• Monitor and analyze industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing investor relations strategies.• Assist in the planning and execution of investor events, conferences, and roadshows to promote the company's investment opportunities and enhance investor engagement.• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to investor communications and reporting.• Update investor information and notes in Juniper Square and Hub Spot CRMs• Answer questions from prospective or current investors regarding new investment opportunities. • Coordinate any tax or related documents between the investor and Barvin's accounting department.• Initiate and review content created for investor distribution.• Build relationships with existing and prospective investors. • Help identify additional prospective investors and ways to connect with them.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's degree in a related field or higher (marketing, economics, finance, or other). WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS• 3+ years' experience in fundraising or investor relations.• Proven experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or related real estate or property management roles.• Strong understanding of financial markets, real estate investment principles, and regulatory requirements.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and internal teams.• Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office suite.• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.• Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.• Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and excellence in all aspects of investor PENSATION• Competitive base salary• Employee Incentive Bonus program• Employer subsidized Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits• 401K Program w employer match• Paid time off• Flexible work schedule• Employee discount on apartment rental
