Biotech Patent AgentOur client is a major Am law 100 firm, seeking a Patent Agent for all offices, including Chicago; Atlanta; Boston; DC; Denver; Dallas, Houston; Fort Lauderdale; Miami; Nashville; New York; Phoenix; Raleigh; Salt Lake City; Del Mar, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco; Seattle; St. Louis; Wilmington. The salary for this position is between $110,000-$180,000, depending upon experience.Qualifications2+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for life sciences, biotech or pharmaceuticals inventions.The firm will also consider candidates who have university tech transfer or industry experience.Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, cellularmolecular biology, molecular genetics, microbiology or related degree.USPTO admission is required.Ability to convey scientific terms verbally and in writing to a range of audiences.Excellent academic credentials.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
