SUMMARYOur client specializes in the TransportationTruckingRail logistics, heavy haul, Competitors: UTC Overseas, HLI Rail & Rigging, US Rail & Logistics, Frontier Logistics, Central OceansJOB DESCRIPTIONDevelop new business for the company through approaching new business customers worldwide.Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance.Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documentsquotes coming to the company.Maintain all account and new business approaches and outcomes in CRM.Generate and distribute specific reports as required.Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.Maintain and manage the financial forecast and cost module projections for project budgetsWork with logistics engineers in development of rail clearances.Undertake cross selling and up selling to further develop account potential through sea freight, road freight, rail freight, value added products (i.e., insurance) and project logistics.Represents the company and its policies to the clients which are defined as "Strategic Accounts".Develop SOPs for strategic accounts.Undertake sales presentations to customers. Travel RequiredProvide operational support on specific projectsUpdate and support operations for project budget for awarded projects.Responsible for communicating updates, progress, and issues to executive leadership team.Provide support to grow the company withing market segmentsOther duties may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience.Strong negotiation and presentation skillsTransportation and Logistics industry experience is highly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability and work history managing and developing new accountsAbility to be on call, receive calls from clients, carriers, prospects and sales associates 247.Minimum of 40 hours per week- Full Time. Travel is required for this position and employeeto travel as needed by Specialized Power Logistics.
