The Wilner Group has partnered with our client a full-service building automation, design-build, and mechanical contracting firm trusted by Fortune 500 clients. Together we are searching for a Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team at their South Amboy, NJ location. This is a full-time, On-site position with a compensation of $30-$50hr. based on experience. Our client offers amazing benefits such as paid vacation, paid sick days, paid Holidays, health care, vision insurance, 401K matching, and much more!Requirements:Travel to customer locations, often multiple daily, as scheduled, and have knowledge and capability to complete repairs on compressors, condensers, evaporator motors, piping, control wiring, spect existing HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety, perform consultations with customers to determine needs, and discuss all solution stall, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVACR equipment to ensure proper HVAC andor refrigeration operation by established procedures and according to code. Qualifications:3-5+ years of commercial service experience.Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants. (Universal or Type I & Type II, 410A)Technical high school certification andor associate degree from an accredited HVAC program.Safety-minded and knowledgeable of OSHA & NFPA safety regulations.Current valid driver's license for operating motor vehicles in the state of New Jersey.Must be available for 24-Hour Emergency On-Call Service, once a month (Additional Pay + Overtime)available for seasonal overtime during the summer and winter months.strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of commercial HVACR including, but not limited to; Split Systems, Package Units, Ductless Systems, Heat Pumps, Cooling Towers, Boilers, PTAC units, VAV's, etc.,The Wilner Group is a professional staffing and talent management firm.
