Overview:One of the largest group of gastroenterology physicians in New Jersey is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.Responsibilities:Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the gastroenterology physicians.Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.Coordinate and participate in patient education and counseling.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care across the medical office and hospital settings.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.Qualifications:Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey.Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.GI experience highly preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Flexibility to work a rotating schedule between the medical office and hospital.Willingness to work overtime on weekends as needed.Benefits:Competitive base salary.Full-time permanent position with annual salary increases.401k match program.Fully covered medical expenses.Three weeks of PTO.Year-end bonus determined by performance.
