Job Description:

A progressive national water treatment company is looking for an experienced water treatment chemical sales account manager for sales and service of water treatment chemicals (and associated equipment) in their Austin, TX territory. Rep will join sales team to focus on growing large industrial accounts in the area, focusing on chemicals used in boiler, cooling tower, closed loop and waste water systems. Account Manager will focus on one large account at first but then develop more business in the general Austin market. Specific responsibilities will include:Day to day management of existing assigned accountsMaintain effective communications with client and company managementMaintain industry knowledge through training and online programsManagement of technical support team, when pany offers a base salary of 75-95K (plus commissions in the territory), company car, expenses, home based office (cell phonelaptop) and comprehensive benefits pany is looking for someone with the following qualifications:4 year degree in a technical field highly desired but will consider industry experience in lieu of educationAt least 3 years of direct industrial water treatment chemical experienceAbility to work well in team environmentStrong mechanical aptitudeEffective communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to write intelligent technical reports in a timely fashionFamiliarity with the Austin industrial market highly desired
