Using Julie's college admissions strategies and mindset coaching, she and her team helped over thousands of high school students get accepted into their dream Ivy League & Top-tier colleges. Passion Prep fully embodies that each student is born with a unique set of gifts and talents, and our job as counselors is to help students identify this and take the right action steps toward creating an enjoyable yet successful experience while navigating their college admissions journey. We are currently mentoring 500+ high school students nationwide and worldwide virtually. About The Role:We are seeking a strategic, organized, and experienced former Ivy League & Top 50 College Admissions Officer to work as the Head College Admissions Counselor (full-time) with our students and parents in our Dallas, Texas office. Requirements And Responsibilities:Strategize and execute high-level college admissions strategies and action steps for students and parentsGuide students through identifying their academic interests, personal interests, strengths, personality, and values through individualized coaching and providing the appropriate resourcesBuild a strong relationship with the students and parents throughout the entire college admissions journeyGuide students with brainstorming, executing, and scaling a unique Passion Project (using our Passion Project System guidelines)Help students create and finalize a comprehensive and balanced college listTrack student's progress on a weekly basis and provide check-ins and remindersHave in-person and Zoom meetings with prospective students and parents, and share knowledge about our College Counseling program(s)Assist the student with the class selection process, summer planning, research positions, extracurricular activities, etc. Manage and evaluate the performance of the College Admissions Counselors in the Dallas, TX office.Improve the quality of our curriculum based on the needs of our studentsLead the Dallas, TX office, working closely with counselors, managers, and any team membersParticipate in marketing efforts such as in-person events, online webinars, Youtube, Podcast, and InstagramResearch and study college admissions trends, policies, and data to improve the quality and knowledge of college admissions to our students and familiesMinimum Qualifications:2+ years of experience in an admissions office as a Director of Admissions, Admissions Officer, or similar role at an Ivy League or Top-tier Colleges Based in Dallas, TXAvailable in the afternoons (3pm - 9pm) and Saturday's (10am - 3pm)Able to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to take on competing priorities and develop work streamsSavvy with Google Workspace and other technologiesAble to research and collect data and information quickly Preferred Qualifications:Possess an undergraduate andor graduate degree from a Top 50 undergraduate institutionStrong experience helping multiple students get accepted to Top 50 schoolsHave 5+ years of professional college counseling experience, either at a company or as an independent consultantAn active member of IECA or NACACWhy Passion Prep? We aim to transform the college admissions industry into a less toxic and less stressful environment for students and parents. The expected pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.
