VRX, Inc. in Plano, Texas, is a rapidly growing woman-owned engineering firm specializing in construction engineering, maintenanceprogram management, highway and bridge design, utility engineering, and environmental consulting.We are seeking a senior marketing coordinator with a minimum of five years of AEC industry experience, including prior TxDOT and federal pursuits experience, to join a highly collaborative team environment.The senior marketing coordinator will serve as a marketing project manager to drive the internal proposal process and coordinate with technical staff to create and edit proposals to win engineering work and prepare presentations for interviews. The senior marketing coordinator must possess strong writing skills and a background in proposal development using eye-catching graphics. A positive, team-oriented commitment as well as excellent interpersonal communication skills are of utmost importance.The senior marketing coordinator's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Reviews RFP or RFQ requirements so client expectations are understood and followed exactly; evaluates and clarifies RFQRFP requirementsinstructions to fulfill all submittal requirements and achieve deadlines• Helps schedulelead pursuit kick-off meetingsHelps set proposal timelineschedule and internal deadlines to ensure we achieve all deadlines.• Coordinates withreaches out to sub-consultants and other teaming partners to obtain needed information• Interviewscollaborates with technical staff and VRX project managers to obtain information to prepare accurate submittals• Writes, edits, and proofreads proposal sections and accurately completes all required forms• Develops text and graphics; organizes and produces marketing materials, including proposalsSOQs, qualifications brochures, PowerPoint presentations, project sheets, leave-behinds, professional correspondence, etc.• Coordinates production of proposals for online or hard copy submission• Tracks and advises Marketing Manager about the status of all proposal elements• Anticipates potential issues and works to find proactive solutions as issues arise• Helps track pursuits and outcomes• Develops or updates resumes for currentnew personnel• Performs other communications-related tasks as needed, including writing company e-newsletters, helping with social media, etc.• Represents VRX as needed at pre-RFQ meetings, professional meetings, etc.• Coordinates special events and projects, as assignedRequirements:o A team player with a positive attitude who understands the importance of working in a support role to assist others in the organization; a team player who supports marketing colleagueso Excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational, and customer service skillso Ability to thrive and work accurately and quickly in a fast-paced environment o Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks with varying deadlines; ability to prioritize, maintain focus, and complete tasks in order of priorityo Flexibility to swiftly respond to priority changes and to work extended hours as necessary to meet deadlines o Experience writingediting proposals, particularly TxDOT and federal submittals as well as those for other governmental entities including municipalities; strong writing and editing skillso Graphics capability: Demonstrate ability to effectively use Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office to design and produce proposals and presentationso Detail-oriented with comprehensive knowledge of rules of grammar, spelling, and business communication o Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals and professional levelso bachelor's degree in journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Arts or similar o Interest in engineering and constructiono Two to five years of AE industry experience, including prior work marketing professional serviceso Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillso Committed to quality work, continual self-improvement and VRX valuesVRX offers competitive compensation, 100% paid benefits (medical, dental and vision, and monthly gym reimbursement), and the opportunity for professional growth and advancement in a supportive, collaborative environment.VRX, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
