Job Description:

As a Change Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the digital thread in the Product Lifecycle Management system. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of our products, ensuring efficient collaboration among cross-functional teams, and maintaining data accuracy within the Digital Twin. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of product development processes. This role will require the understanding of a proper workflow for Product Lifecycle Management, and the ability to communicate this to the users.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:PLM System Administration:• Manages and Maintains the Change Management Processes Integrity.• Administer and maintain the PLM system, ensuring its optimal functionality.• Configure and customize the PLM system to align with the company's product development processes.• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the PLM system.• Proficient in C#, SQL, and AML preferred or equivalent languages.Data Management:• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data within the PLM system.• Implement and enforce data standards and best practices.• Regularly audit and cleanse data to eliminate redundancies and inconsistencies.User Training and Support:• Provide training to users on PLM system functionalities and best practices.• Function as the first point of contact for PLM-related inquiries and provide timely support to users.• Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.Collaboration and Communication:• Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in product development.• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.• Serve as a liaison between end-users and IT teams to address system enhancements and improvements.Process Improvement:• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the product lifecycle.• Propose and implement enhancements to streamline workflows and increase productivity.• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in the PLM system.OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:• Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.• Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CB policies and procedures.• Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.• Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.• Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:• Proven experience as a PLM Specialist or in a similar role.• Prior Engineering Change Management/PLM work experience/knowledge of product/BOM structures, configuration management, change control/PLM systems, engineering and manufacturing business processes.• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management concepts and methodologies.• Proficient in the use and administration of PLM software, preferred Aras Innovator (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill).• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, test plans, and procedure manuals.• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.• Ability to write and read English.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:• Minimum of bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering, from an accredited college or university.• 3-5 years of experience working in a related field, industry, or work environment. Aerospace experience is a plus.• Proven experience successfully collaborating with teams and following direction.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:• CM2 Certification preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
