Job Description:Katydid is in search of a content creator with a proven track record, an autonomous mindset, and comfort behind and in front of the camera. In this role, you will drive the entire content creation process from ideation to videography to posting, with a high emphasis on short-form videos. You will also manage influencer relationships and manage our blog to promote the business and overall, represent our brand as a personable face on our social media. Our small business is growing rapidly. We are looking for someone who can take our content to a viral level. This role needs a creative and talented individual to streamline our content calendar.Responsibilities:Plan, video, and edit brand short-form and long-form brand videosCollaborate with marketing team to establish goals, messaging, and create a streamlined pool of contentFollow industry trends and execute best practices in brand content and come up with ideas for constant content deliverySchedule and publish content across various platforms while optimizing posting schedules for maximum reach and engagementInitiate and maintain relationships with influencers, including outreach, negotiations, and contract management to align with the brand's goalsWrite engaging, informative and SEO optimized blog posts using AI that align with the brand's content strategy and target audienceCommunity management: monitor social media channels for comments, mentions, and DMs, and respond to inquiries or comments promptly.Analyze overall performance and KPIs for social media and blog content to continuously make data-driven recommendations for improvementQualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, film production, or a related field (preferred)2-3 years proven experience in video production, editing, content creation and influencer managementWhile typically seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience, applicants outside of this range will also be considered and appropriately compensatedProficiency in video editing requiredStrong understanding of various social media platforms and proven success required (Experience with TikTok Shops is a plus)SEO experience to optimize our blogs utilizing AI to write about relevant topicsComfort in front of the camera, with the ability to connect with an audienceCreative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideasStrong organizational skills and attention to detailTo apply:You can apply directly here!
