Akkodis is seeking a Calibration Technician with a client located in Lancaster, New york.Pay/Salary: $75,000 - $80,000/yrJob DescriptionThe calibration technician is responsible for calibrating equipment, as well as maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting basic instrumentation both for the calibration laboratory and production lines.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be capable of developing calibration testing procedures, in cooperation with the requesting engineer, for each piece of equipment based on technical specifications and end use.Measurement errors must be quickly identified and corrected.Instruments that require inspection and repair may be of an acoustical, chemical, electrical, fluid, mechanical, optical or thermodynamic nature.Education Requirements• Required - Calibration, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Quality, or Systems Engineering; Associate of Applied Science, Engineering Technologies degree, 2-year vocational or equivalent education/experiencePreferred - Calibration Engineering Technology Associate of Applied Science or Calibration Technician Certification ProgramIf you are interested in this Calibration technician job in NY then please click APPLY NOW.
