Job Description:

CR Fletcher is recruiting for a 401k/Pension Plan Administrator for a long-standing company in the Syracuse area. This position is responsible for preforming annual administration for defined contribution plans, preparing and reviewing annual reports, tracking data, and identifying potential plan redesign opportunities.ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret the plan document specifications and apply to theemployee/participantPrepare contribution allocation and optimal plan illustrationsReview reconciled trust accounts to plan accountsPerform and review non"discrimination testing (combined plan where applicable)Prepare and review IRS Form 5500, and others as neededCalculate and review required minimum distributionsReview distribution and loan disclosures and paperwork based upon plan provisionsDesign and implement procedures to work with support team membersCommunicate with client, accountant, attorney, and investment advisor on plan relatedissuesTrack data received and not received and follow up with related parties to receive dataReview participant disclosures and notificationsIdentify potential plan redesign opportunities and potential prohibited transactionsQualifications5+ years of third party administration experienceDefined contribution plan administration experience
