About the jobOur client, a national commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, seeks a highly motivated MEP Manager to join their team in Dallas, TX.Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the specific mechanical and electrical construction needs of mission-critical facilities (e.g., data centers) and other related construction projects. This position will manage all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors involved in the project. Coordinate all Mechanical and Electrical schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation from pre-construction through close-out. Requirements for this position include: 5-10 yrs commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred The position requires extensive experience managing the construction of data centers and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects. The candidate must have experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, managing and tracking project budgets, and controlling costs. Monitor the installation and start-up of MEP systems and project commissioning with the Engineer & Owner. Strong experience managing relationships with owners' representatives, architects, engineers, and clients on a professional level while supervising subcontractors and vendors is a priority. Manage and lead the MEP Team and Trade Partners throughout the duration of the project (from Groundbreaking through Commissioning and Turnover to the Owner)
