Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Assistant Manager to join our team! The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure the team delivers the required tasks with the highest quality and standards.Job Responsibilities:Coordinating day-to-day operationsEnsuring that company guidelines are followedSetting up and organizing schedulesDevising and setting up objectives to boost company productivityEnsuring that goals and objectives are metMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentInterviewing and recruiting new employeesProviding training to employeesDelegating tasks to employeesSupervising, leading and motivating employeesReporting any problems or accidents to GMFilling in for GM in case of their absenceHelping with monitoring and tracking operating costs, budgets and resourcesCreating reports, analyzing, interpreting and presenting dataWorking with clientsMonitoring customer and client satisfactionManaging customer complaints and resolving their issuesAssisting with procurement of inventory and suppliesSupporting the general manager as neededQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in a restaurantMust be have Food Handlers and TABC certificationsMust be at least 21 years of ageExperience in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staffAbility to plan and organizeExperience in managing budgetsUnderstanding of customer service principles and practicesExcellent multitasking skillsProficiency in using MS OfficeStrong problem-solving skillsGreat interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsGood time-management skillsAbility to work well under pressure
