Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a local Crookston, MN company as they search for a Production Manger to join the thriving team. As a Production Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. Your strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities will contribute to the success of the shop and the satisfaction of our customers. This opportunity is a four-day work week Monday through Thursday 7:00AM-5:30PM. Salary will depend upon experience, but you will have a competitive benefits plan and opportunity to grow. Position Overview:Work with CAD and editing designs. Hands on supervising and managing a team of fabricators, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure product is being assembled correctly.Monitor and review the progress, ensuring that deadlines are met, and any issues or delays are promptly addressed.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and clean working environment.Providing monthly safety meetings.Ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and vehicles are properly operated, maintained as well as clean and organized.Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed.Conducting performance reviews with staff.Meeting with management to deliver feedback and quality control issues and how to resolve them.Ensure quality checks are completed at each relevant stage of the project.Responsible for accepting and checking in product materials immediately and making sure to report any damaged materials or any refusal of damaged materials.Qualifications:Minimum prior experience of 5 years as a manufacturing/production foreman.2+ years of experience in CAD and the ability to update designs.Ability to fabricate and use hand tools. Good understanding of work optimization and team leading skills. Good shop culture.Safety Minded.Must get satisfaction building quality product.How to apply?
