Job Description:

This hybrid position will work out of our Home Office in Dripping Springs, TX. Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000Senior Staff AccountantPrepare and deliver financial information for leadership to support successful business operations. Research, analyze, verify, and prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accurate record keeping. This is a hybrid position; splitting working between home and the office.ResponsibilitiesResearch and analyze accounts and prepare financial statementsPrepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by inputting and verifying dataAnalyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying informationPrepare various schedules for the annual auditPrepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files and reconciling accountsDevelop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changesAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataAssist in registering and preparing annual reports for respective states where the company provides servicesCollaborate with other departments to problem solve ongoing issues that impact department / organizational goalsInitiate continuous quality improvement in work processComplete additional projects as requested by senior managementQualifications3-5 years of relevant work experience with increasing levels of responsibilityUnderstanding of corporate accounting policies and proceduresUnderstanding and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related experienceCPA or Master's degree in accounting is desiredExperience in NetSuite, Adaptive, and SalesforceAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to work on a dynamic teamAdditional Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrate creativity, intelligence, and discretion in planning, organizing, and coordinating department functionsAbility to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose an appropriate course of actionDemonstrate fiscal accountability for department resources and the ability to achieve outcomes within allocated resourcesCommunicate and support HHS' mission, vision, and values, as well as departmental goals to all staffAbility to define performance objectives and metrics for the departmentWhat We OfferPaid time off (vacation and sick)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)Career development and ongoing trainingImportant to KnowVeterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.HHS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion. Who is HHSHHS is a private, family-owned business dedicated to caring for its team members and providing honest, quality-driven customer service.
