Located in Wharton, Texas, Trailer Place offers nationwide shipping on trailers and truck bodies.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Equipment Installer. The Truck Equipment Installer will be responsible for installing truck beds, air compressors, cranes, PTO's, and other accessories, and upfitting products on various types of vehicles. The installer will also need to work with other technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to installed equipment.QualificationsMechanical and technical skills in automotive or truck industryBasic understanding of hydraulic and electric systemsAbility to read and understand technical manuals and wiring diagramsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and toolsGood communication and teamwork skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordASE certification or equivalent is a plus
