Job Description: Plant ControllerFast growing manufacturing organization is currently searching for a Plant Controller, in Muskogee, OK. The Plant Controller will provide leadership and coordination of all business segment financial decisions and product line analysis, assure financial reporting accuracy and will be the business partner for the Plant Manager and Corporate VP of Finance and other key leaders for all strategic decisions for the organization. The organization is a growth-oriented manufacturer of infrastructure-related products and services with leading positions in construction, energy, and transportation markets. What You'll Do:Enhance reporting content and processes to ensure that reporting meets the business needs and is produced efficientlyCoordinate the month-, quarter- and year-end closing and reporting activities for the businessStreamline current process and identify process improvement opportunities to automatePrepare detailed variance analysis and partner with finance members to research issues and present findings to leadershipCoordinate the preparation of financial forecastsPrepares financial reports for internal use at the company by collecting, analyzing, formatting and presenting informationSupervise accounts payable and invoicing activitiesPrepare annual budgets and monthly forecastsPerform monthly KPI's to review with operations team & business unit managementAssist internal and external audit by providing the requested information as neededAnalyze and document current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practicesSpecial projects and other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR equivalent experience in manufacturing/cost accountingMinimum of 7years of experience in finance/accounting (Cost Accounting experience in Manufacturing highly preferred)Track record of process improvement, simplification and streamlining financial processesExperience with various systems and financial reporting tools (Oracle, On, JobScope, Power BI, GL Wand/Reports Wand)Advanced Microsoft Excel and data modeling skillsAbility to prioritize, multi-task, and be flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExcellent communication and influencing skills, able to interface with business leadersStrong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsWorking knowledge of GAAPExtensive knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
