A nonprofit community services organization in New York is looking to add a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to their team in the Hudson Valley.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm (10am to 7pm on Tues or Thurs)Call: NoneSetting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)Responsibilities: The Social Worker (LCSW) will:Provide clients with individual and group therapyAssist with the pre-intake, intake, and screening of new clients into the system and providing information on their psycho-social historyComplete a differential diagnosis for clients and create a treatment plan for clientsModify on an ongoing basis in reflection of their progress in therapy and prepare them for the completion of their treatmentComplete administrative tasks, including: maintaining case records, documenting all clients' contacts, etc.Develop and implement follow-up studies to determine program effectivenessCoordinate with appropriate parties on client's treatmentProvide clients with information and educational community activities to combat substance use and mental health issuesAct as a client advocate and liaison with community resourcesPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Bachelor's DegreeNYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Solid assessment and documentation skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:Master's Degree
