Manages complex quoting processes and must possess strong problem solving skills with the ability to challenge existing packaging norms for innovative alternatives.Core ResponsibilitiesProcesses requests for quotes adhering to customer requirements and production guidelines on packaging and component optionsOversees process from quote initiation to release of first production run for contract packaging requests.Processes and/or coordinates samples based on customer quote specifications.Looks for creative ways to reduce cost by suggesting efficient packaging and component options.Maintains SAP database in regards to packaging contracts.Administers Engineering Change Management ProcessCoordinates initial runs of finished goods and pilot products to ensure customer requirements are met and all documentation is correct.Creates Material Masters, Device Medical Records (DMR) & Build of Materials (BOM) records.Creates artwork incorporating customer logos and specific customer requirements while adhering to MAI Quality Guidelines, coordinate approval of product & labeling artwork.Initiates Component Source Sheet for new components.Maintains Quote Status and New Raw Material Code Number Log.Completes and communicates List Price Entry forms upon receipt of contracts.Maintains sample stock area for quote assembly including organization, stock replenishment and purging obsolete itemsQualifying ExperienceAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowlege, Skills & AbilitiesWritten and verbal communication skills.PC skills (spreadsheet and word processing).Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and writtenIndividual should be proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, Word and Outlook at a basic level.Individual should possess a working knowledge of SAP, preferably.Exhibit skills for planning, organizing and completing work projects.If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
