The combined North American business now has more than 900 employees, operates across 40 locations, including 8 brick plants, 26 masonry supply/retail locations and 3 design studios.Basic FunctionThe Process Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing process ensuring quality operations of the Adel Plant. Manage the Quality Management System including training, product inspection/analysis and auditing as needed. Will involved development of statistical analysis and best practices to ensure consistency, identify trends and seek way of improving the manufacturing process to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products.Responsibilities:Develop and complete daily/weekly/monthly quality reports to improve site overall KPI.Manage Kiln and Dryer processes ensuring consistency and improvement across all products.Review, develop and maintain required quality standards as needed, developing a Quality Management System.Develop and ensure maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for all manufacturing processes.Apply quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.Maintain and improve product quality by completing production process and product audits (including benchmarking and gap analysis), investigating customer complaints, and collaborating with other personnel to develop new product manufacturing and training methods.Manage development of raw materials, procedural and finished product inspection procedures.Revise and maintain product formulations and standards.Develop and document job hazard analysis for various plant functions.Assist in the development of LOTO procedures for plant operations.Complete monthly environmental assessments.Education And Experience RequirementsDegree in Engineering or Related Field (Industrial, Quality, or Process)Relevant experience (3-5 year) in a manufacturing environmentCeramics experience is beneficialKnowledge of Management Systems modelsExperience with internal Audit TechniquesThis job description is not intended to be all inclusive and as such, the employee will also be required to perform other reasonably related business duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or other management personnel as required.
