Purpose of JobThe role of a Fulfillment Center is to get product to the customer as fast as possible and is a critical function within our Logistics. The role you'll play is having the opportunity to positively impact thousands of customers worldwide and drive Newegg forward through leading special projects within operations to develop business initiatives and operational excellence.Job DescriptionProcessing each order completely and accuratelyPacking the orders in a safe, effective and efficient manner; verifying order accuracy by order number, product quantity and shipping each orderEnsure special safety precautions and/or equipment is maintainedAwareness of storage techniques and locations, space allocation, & stock rotationSort and prepare merchandise for RMA requestCreate and manage vendor and internal transfer documentationPrepare merchandise for shipping with necessary and correct documentationResponsible for the verification and accuracy of all outgoing shipmentsResponsible for loading packages onto carriers as neededResponsible for physical inventory count in assigned areaTest and troubleshoot hardware and software problemsProvide driver information for merchandise to relevant departmentsSupporting technical support activities between outbound and vendorsMaintain a clean working areaOther duties, responsibilities, and tasks may be required and/or assigned as necessaryJob RequirementsPrevious experience working within Fulfillment, Warehousing, or Manufacturing preferred.Excellent verbal communications skillsMust be physically capable of repetitive standing, lifting, bending and stooping for long period of timeEssential Mental & Physical FunctionWalking, stooping, standing, stretching, bending, lifting and sitting for long periods of timeAbility to work under extreme environments such as high heat and cold weatherRequires minimum lifting ability of 40 pounds; may require heavy lifting of 50+ pounds with assistance of team members and/or equipmentSupervisor ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Language SkillsEmployee must be able to read, write and speak English.Work EnvironmentJob will be performed in a warehouse environment that may be noisy, dirty, hot and/or cold.
