Main duties ***** Lead the design and programming of highly automated PLC and Robotic systems Analyze user requirements and develop new components and system functionality Lead hardware design projects (wiring diagrams, schematics and harnesses) that are used on the automation systems Lead product testing efforts Travel (40-50%) to client sites for full automation support (installation, commissioning, training) Qualifications ***** BS degree in an Engineering discipline Strong PLC/robotic programming skills Strong combination of electrical and hardware (design) engineering skills Must be willing to travel- mostly regional (some overnight trips)
