Accounting ManagerDowntown IndianapolisIndustry: ManufacturingSalary: 100k-110kACCOUNTING MANAGER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Monitor policies and procedures for assigned departments and identify and suggest improvements for accounting reporting and recording procedures.Comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and maintaining compliance.Continue ongoing education by participating in webinars and workshops.Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.Oversee and support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.Maintain efficient General Ledger accounting and Procure-to-Pay systems. Develop and maintain key relationships with business partners and outside vendors.
