Claims Adjuster, Complex Claims, ChicagoChicagoSalary to $120K plus benefitsOur client is an insurance broker, who are now expanding their Chicago office and now searching for an experienced claims professional to drive the growth of the business.Duties Include:National claims related to complex claims for $100K+ projectsManage claims process from start to finish for specialized claimsTroubleshoot all settlements, fraud, subrogation, liens and resolutions related to claims for the regionWork under little supervision and delegated authority for settlement claimsOversee payment process and validation of claims in adherence to company policies and proceduresLiaise with third party adjusters overseeing their workManage target budgets and minimizing risk of financial loss to the companyMonitor claims investigations, reviewing insurance policies, analysis of statistical data related to claims.Candidate Should Possess:At least 6 years+ claims experience ideally with some exposure to litigated complex claims with some experience in Workers CompensationStrong written and verbal skills and comfortable in small presentationsComfortable to work in a smaller team-oriented environment4 year degree preferred as well as any further insurance designated certifications (CPCU, claims etc.)This is a great opportunity for a claim's professional, looking for a quality of worklife balance, working with a great group of professionals.
