Position: Legal SecretaryType: Direct HireSalary: $90KLocation: Downtown DallasSchedule: In-Office, Monday-Friday (8-5)Job Summary:A high-level Legal SecretaryOffice Manager is sought for a burgeoning law firm in Dallas. This full-time, in-office role is situated in our Dallas, TX headquarters. The incumbent will manage the daily operations of the Dallas office and assist with transactional and some litigation tasks, under the direction of the Firm's Partners.Responsibilities:Oversee intricate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as dealings with airline fleets and corporate jets on a global scale.Manage the office's general commercial litigation practice, including case intake, file management, court submissions, scheduling, legal research, drafting pleadings and discovery responses, liaising with opposing counsel and courts, and trial preparation.Mastery of the Texas and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure is crucial, as is familiarity with filing documents through Texas's electronic filing systems and ECF.Manage daily office functions and provide administrative support to attorneys, including handling correspondence, ordering supplies, word processing, editing and sending out client bills, and coordinating filings with other offices.Coordinate with the IT Department on office technology needs.Serve as the main point of contact for facility-related matters.Manage vendor relations and assist with vendor communications and issues.Qualifications and Requirements:Graduation from an American Bar Association-approved Legal AssistantParalegal Program or Certification through NALA, NFPA, or NALS; or bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university.5 to 7 years Paralegal experience including experience in (i) a transactional practice, and (ii) a civil litigation practice in federal and state courts.For More Information: Please email your updated resume to Marva Walker at
