Title: CytotechnologistLocation- (Tampa, Greensboro, Pompano, Miramar), FLContract Duration - 13 weeksShift- DaynightPay Package- $61hr Job DescriptionCoordinate technical activities in the cytology preparatory laboratory and monitor and day-to-day activities of the cytology laboratoryRead and interpret a gynecologic pap smear by examining cytology specimens for the presence of abnormal cellular changes and pathogensEnter diagnostic interpretation into Cytology LISAccountable for accurately labeling slides, for filling out QC forms, daily maintenance reports for cytology lab equipment and for the diagnostic accuracy of all personally signed out casesAssist in the individual instruction of cytology studentsRecord laboratory results into the laboratory information system record them on cytology worksheetsExamines and accurately reports on Gynecologic and Non-gynecologic Cytology specimensProvide diagnostic screening for all cytology cases, including GYN and non-GYNFrequently wash hands, as biohazardous materials may be present
